The BodyGuard™ is a Hands Free less lethal self-defense system worn on the arm. The forearm is protected by a platform equipped with a LED flashlight, green laser pointer and camera for capturing evidence and identifying assailants. The basic unit also includes a stun device for when situations get out of hand.
By consolidating these tactical tools into a highly integrated arm platform and getting rid of each component’s individual harness, we were able to cut the weight by over 30%, thereby affording users more mobility, convenience, and capability.
The BodyGuard™ houses components within a lightweight ABS Polymer Shell that acts is a shield while in potential combat, and as a protective layer to what's inside. For maximum comfort, it was designed with a Breathable Inner Lining to wick away sweat and held in place by a two-part Ratcheting System around your forearm. Within the Form Fitting Glove is a pressure pad so the user can easily activate the stun device with one swift movement.
ARMSTAR protects its wearer via integrated stun devices that cannot be seized or dropped. The composite case and forearm shield provide lightweight body armor protection from weapon strikes during hand to hand combat. The stunner can be intuitively activated in split-second encounters with the palm switch. By avoiding holstered solutions, mistaken drawing of firearms in high-stress contexts is also avoided.
ARMSTAR'S situational awareness software informs users via the display about team locations, chemicals in the vicinity, orders from command, and threats identified by others. Our data solutions provide advanced surveillance, Next Generation 911 (NG911), as well as data audio and video stream integration from various law enforcement and military com systems.
ARMSTAR collects multiple video and audio streams to document crime scenes, identify assailants, increase the transparency of field altercations, and to aid in the prosecution of criminals. With integrated radio, vital signs monitoring, A/V recording, and location data, the ARMSTAR captures, encrypts, and stores over a dozen data streams. These data packages allow evidence to contend in the modern era of criminal defense and prosecution with multiple authentication points, ensuring the highest level of data integrity.
ARMSTAR features integrated 3rd party software and service packages built into its wearable format with full compatibility. Everything from private sector security apps to defense battlefield command platforms can be used at the push of a button. In fact, each ARMSTAR unit’s basic chasis is modular and can be customized and configured to fit the wearer’s specific needs and updated as necessary. The chassis can be customized for a customer's needs beyond the four configurations listed below. Every unit deployed is warrantied with a service contract and replacement program to minimize downtime and maintenance cycles.
The Basic tier targets the needs of security guards and low threat protective service employees. This version is stripped of many of the tactical and defensive components,instead prioritizing data collection and situational awareness.
The Guard tier targets the needs of Correctional Officers. The core functionality of the interface remains a critical component, with some tactical features added to aid in command and control.
The Enforcer tier capabilities build on the Guard tier with added and enhanced features to aid Law Enforcement Officers out on patrol.
Custom built with state-of-the-art technologies for military branches, and governments this tier is based on individualized requirements. Examples of these technologies include satellite data-links, chemical sensors, robotics, and drone control.
